The Hershey's Kisses Maker toy from Spin Master lets you melt and mold chocolate into delicious Kisses. This toy came to me in a unique way--I got it from its inventor! I was contacted by Derek Gable, the inventor of this and other toys in my collection, for help in locating a Nickelodeon Melt-O-Matic toy. Derek invented that toy and needed a copy for a presentation and no longer had one in his possession. I packaged up my Melt-O-Matic and sent it off to him with the promise of receiving another toy he invented from his personal collection. I was elated to accept this Kisses Maker toy and Derek also sent a brief note and autographed copy of the book Dream Doll: The Ruth Handler Story. Derek also sent a newspaper article about his inventing, see it here: Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3. How cool is that! Item number 70628 dated 2004. At this writing you can still buy the Hershey's Kisses Maker from Amazon.
