The Electric Drawing Set by Lakeside Toys is a 110V tracing desk. This is the Disney version
and I was also able to purchase five other sheet sets from the same seller on eBay. The former
owner of these sets was kind enough to laminate each drawing sheet in plastic to protect them.
In addition to the sets I have, Francie & Barbie, Liddle Kiddles, Gumby & Pokey,
GI-Joe, Fighting Men of the West, and the Disney set, the toy was released with at least a James
Bond set, a Shari Lewis & Friends set, and an Auto-Boat-Plane set. My toy is item
number 8265 dated 1965. There are a number of light-up tracing desks available through Amazon.com
I've scanned all the tracing sets from both the Emenee and Lakeside drawing desks and you can download and print them if you like. Note that the files are very large PDF files. From Emenee: Batman, Cartoons, Dr. Doolittle, Monsters, Superman. From Lakeside: Disney Characters, Francie & Barbie, GIJoe, Gumby & Pokey, Heroes of the West, Laurel and Hardy, Liddle Kiddles.
Other drawing toys in my collection: Enlarg-A-Graph and Trace-A-Graph by Emenee, Mighty Men & Monster Maker by Tomy, and of course the most popular drawing toy ever, Spirograph by Hasbro.
