The Electric Ball Clock from Arrow is kind of a toy. It comes in pieces which you must assemble and once plugged in will keep time by raising a ball from the bottom to the top each minute. I have three complete clocks and the plastic parts of another. One of my motors is broken which is quite frequent with this toy. Replacement motors are available, as are the assembly instructions, on Stuart's Rolling Ball Clock Page. The first two clocks are both item number 675 dated 1978. The third clock which was still factory sealed when I purchased it is item number 660 dated 1983. This third clock shows gold (gilt) balls on the box but alas came with silver ones.
A version of the Electric Ball Clock is still made. Now battery powered, the clock is called the Time Machine.
